Meet Your Electrician: Edward “Eddie”

Edward is a Licensed Electrician in the State of Texas with nearly three decades in the industry. His career includes:

• 14 years as Branch Manager at Mr. Electric
• 12 years as Vice President of the Service Department at Southern/On-Time Electric in Houston
• Extensive experience as a traveling electrician before settling into leadership roles

Edward specializes in electrical service and repair, meaning if something breaks—he can fix it! With a deep knowledge of the latest electrical codes and safety regulations, he ensures that homes and businesses operate safely and efficiently.

Meet the Family Behind Ready Eddie Electric

Edward and his wife, Karisa, are proud parents of four wonderful boys—and now, a daughter too! When he’s not working, Edward enjoys spending time with family and riding his Harley-Davidson with friends and club members.

Karisa runs an established micro-school, where she homeschools their boys and provides a Bible-based education in a small classroom setting.

Christian & Melanie

Christian turned 22 in February and recently married his beautiful and sweet wife, Melanie!

Christian has been making big moves—he earned his Wireman License and launched his own electrical contracting business, Hollums Electric, which is thriving!

Beyond his career, Christian and Melanie are youth pastors at Calvary Baptist Church, where they’re doing incredible work with the youth group. Their group keeps growing, and they’re making a real impact in the lives of young people.

And here’s some exciting news—Christian and Melanie are expecting their first baby in September! Their family is growing, and we couldn’t be happier for them!

Oh, and did we mention? They’re also crazy dog parents! Their pack keeps expanding, and they’re now up to two dogs—Buckwheat, and Petey! (Yep, the Little Rascals theme is strong… and we’re pretty sure the full gang is coming soon! 😆)

We couldn’t be prouder of Christian and Melanie—they’re handling adulthood like pros, even better than we did at their age!

 Isaiah is a senior this year! He turns 18 in August and is set to graduate in May. Time is flying!

This year, Isaiah became an apprentice electrician and now works alongside Eddie two to three days a week, learning the trade and growing his skills.

When he’s not working, he loves hanging out with his little brothers—building Minecraft worlds, creating Roblox games, and battling it out in late-night laser tag matches in the backyard. They also enjoy card games and board games around the dining room table.

As for life after graduation? He’s still figuring it out, and that’s okay. He’s a deep thinker, always full of interesting facts, and we know something big is stirring in his mind. Whatever he decides, we’re certain it will be great and mighty—because that’s just who he is.

Over the last couple of years, we’ve watched Isaiah overcome so much, and we couldn’t be prouder of the young man he’s becoming. We can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for him!

John turned the BIG double digits—10 years old— He is such a sweet soul with a servant’s heart.

John is a history enthusiast, especially WWII, and dreams of becoming a historian and historical reenactor when he grows up

John’s also discovered a passion for Lego stop-motion videos—he’s getting really good at them! Along with that, he loves building Legos, completing puzzles, and is starting to show off his talent for art.

Noble is 9 years old. He’s our curious, caring, easygoing, fun-loving and full of life risk-taker who will try anything once!  With a special love for animals—and an extra soft spot for his mom!

Noble loves playing video games, especially Minecraft, and he’s becoming quite the baseball fan, dreaming of being a pitcher. He’s always the first to jump into new adventures, full of energy and excitement.
